A hidden jewel. If you're on the canal, this place is worth a visit.

A regular yearly visitor to leitrim, we a party of 7 after a lovely cycle discovered this fab little pub tucked away along the canal trail. We were greeted by the lovely threasa who was manning the bar by herself, and was not fazed by us who where thirsty and hungry. She rustled us up food in a jiffy and made us feel so welcome. Very reasonably priced and scenery from the outside picnic tables was stunning. Threasa an absolute pleasure and only that we had to drop our bikes back we would have stayed longer. We will defiently be back .

I met with this absolute GEM of a pub while I was on a bike ride with my family. Very scenic and atmospheric. We had a lovely tasty snack, no menu to see but anything we asked for was no problem. Food was very tasty especially the chips but I think the secret ingredient was Teresa. A lovely , freindly lady, even though she was extremely busy she made us feel very welcome and relaxed. Will definitely return.

Nice spot for a coffee after cycling the blueway from Leitrim village. Excellent home made scones served with butter, jam and cream. Toasted sandwiches were good too. Very friendly hostess too. Only reason for not giving the full give stars is that the coffee was a bit on the weak side. Still, I will definitely be back.
