Their service was amazing and the waitress was super kind. The food however was mediocre. Tastes like home cooked food. It wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing where I would give 5 star rating.
I've been here twice now, and the food and customer service both times have been amazing! The waitresses are very helping and kind, and the food is DELICIOUS!!! Definitely recommend coming.
One of the few actual Japanese restaurants out on Maui as opposed to some of the overpriced facsimiles nearby . The staff are very friendly here and the prices are quite reasonable most of the menu is under 20. I had the tantanmen ramen and it was delicious. Slightly spicy, with lots of veggies and ground meat; the Dan Dan noodles soaked up the broth well. My wife had the curry chicken, which wasn't as flavorful, but the red ginger made up for it. Would definitely recommend making reservations, and also bringing your own takeout containers if you want to bring home leftover soup it cost 50 cents for soup containers . All in all, I'd go back to this restaurant, especially since they've got a diverse menu with lots of beverage options.
Homey Japanese restaurant presumably run by a family. The menu is small but mighty. We ordered the miso salmon bomb!! , tonkatsu, tan tan ramens and the crepe for dessert. Miso salmon and the crepes were standouts. The cream they use in the crepe is so good. Not sure how they do it, but it's super light and fluffy. The tonkatsu was better than the tan tan if you're in the mood for ramen :
