Matteo's Osteria - Kīhei

My friends and I decided to come here based on the menu for "Wailea Restaurant Week" and we were not disappointed! The food was great and the service

We showed up very late for our reservation and the kitchen was already closed.

On our trip to Maui I searched the nearby restaurants ant Matteo's Osteria came up with great reviews now I understand why! We didn't have a reservation

This place might not be bad if we had 0 expectations. 3.5 out of 10, food is overpriced for what it is. Very far from the true Italian cuisine. Servers are nice! Wouldn't recommend.

The first time in Matteo and definitely not the last. The Frutti Di Mare is quite brilliant. My wife had the gnocchi, which was also quite brilliant. You have my list of have to visit places in Maui.
