Aloha! My name is Taylor and I'm a visitor from America. This is my first time to eat at Home Maid Cafe, and I am am amazed by the hectic of the workers. They impress me all the time I have eaten my super tasty pancakes, with how fast and efficient they are. It takes a lot of work to run a restaurant right, and I know that because my father owns his own home-style pizza restaurant. If you want to eat here, do it! My only proposals are patient with the few workers they have here. It is very stressful to guide a food joint and give them as much time as they need, the world will mean. Locals cafe? Ordered three egg omelette with veggie and Portuguese sausage. Very nice. I'm easy to please much of the time. If you're looking for fancy and or Hawaiian kind of restaurant, nalu is next door. Just want tasty food to start morning, no frills? This is a good place. Staff is precious. I will return.

The malasadas are amazing! They were made fresh, so we had to wait a bit, but it was definitely worth it! The dough is simply incredible.

I ordered the moca, my daughter french toast, and my wife eggs and bacon. Little hole in the wall joint with only two people working, but boy do they hustle. You order at the counter, but they do bring it to you. Everything is served on paper plates with disposable flatware. For as high priced for what you get everywhere else, this is pretty reasonable and the food is good. If you’re one of those entitled minded tourists, you should pass. But if you appreciate home cooking that’s locally owned, come here.
