In several previous attempts to eat lunch at the restaurant, I had failed every time in the park situation in Holtenauer Straße. This time I found a car park in one of the side streets. It was about ten minutes after 12:00, the beginning of the opening time when I entered and the five or six steps went to the guest room. I was kindly greeted by the two at the counter, and when I asked for a table, he hit the window. I took a place and an operation brought me the lunch card. When I told her that Sushi wasn't my thing and I wanted to eat Korean, she immediately opened the map and pointed to the offers of Korean cuisine. There were Gogi Jache Bab with the meat pork, chicken and beef, optionally marinated in soy sauce or in sharp peperoni sauce. In all cases, fried glass noodles, carrots, zucchini, onions and anger onions are included and a part of rice. The versions with pork cost €7,50, with chicken or beef 8.00, each includes a soup and a small daily appetizer. After a brief consideration I ordered the dish with chicken breast, marinated in sharp peperoni sauce, and a certain. After a short time, a mezzo mix was served in the 0.2l bottle (2.40 € and at the table. There was only one table at that time. The restaurant is quite sober and objectively furnished and sees something bald with the white walls, decoration is practically limited to small flower vases on the tables. The bare brown table tops made of raw wood have almost all clear scratch marks, the black lacquered chairs are beaten at many places and the color is peeled off. In the background of the guest room the black dressed sushi master threw behind his kitchen counter. After a few minutes an operation came and brought a dish with spoons and sticks, a bowl of Miso soup and a small dish with two pieces of marinated cabbage. The soup was dusted with very finely cut spring onions in which there were numerous seaweeds. The soup was hot, but not too hot, the broth itself was of fine, reserved taste, because the seaweed was a bit more powerful. After eating the soup, I turned into a “small appetizer”. A baby Pak Choi, halved, marinated and sprinkled with sesame, was hard to eat with the bars, but was very good taste. After soup and appetizer had been consumed, a service came very fast to clean up, asking if it tastes what I would like to confirm. In the meantime, some other guests arrived who were probably some regular guests from their behavior. Now the sushi master also entered action and produced his imaginative bargains. It took a few minutes, then the operation came with an iron pan on a wooden board. The contents of the pan consisted almost half of rice, on the other hand the meat-size mixture. Despite careful blows, I burned my tongue on the first piece of meat. Then I'll eat even more carefully. The chicken meat was absolutely delicate and came with clear sharpness from the Peperoni marinade, the various vegetables were bite-resistant and with recognizable own taste. Overall a very tasty matter that also fits well in the amount. Conclusion: A restaurant for all occasions and guests. I saw a group of businessmen at the business dinner and two more tables a student couple. Those who do not take into account the specific features of the ambience described can definitely eat Japanese and/or Korean.
Ann is known for its perfect sushi for a long time. But a couple of last times I ordered the Kaiseki menu they offer and it ... was just amazing! Kaiseki is a very special Japanese dinner which consists of different courses. Courses go in...a particular order, so in the end, you get something fresh, something cooked, something crunchy, sour etc. I like that the menu changes every month, so one does not get bored with it. For example, we got the freshest sashimi as one of the courses served in a bowl made of ice, which was very unusual and interesting. Something special to order for a Birthday party or a special evening.
