Bazille - Kiel

Bazille Restaurant is located directly in the Holtenauer Straße in Kiel. The Holtenauer Straße is a busy street with a good selection of restaurants, boutiques and other shops. In front of the restaurant is a small wooden terrace where you can sit outside in beautiful weather. On the left and right of the entrance door there is a showcase with the current menu. Since I had to go back to Kiel a few days ago and it was noon, I decided to visit the Bazille in Holtenauer Strasse as I had already heard and read a lot of good from this gastronomy. I looked at the menu just outside in the entrance and entered the restaurant shortly afterwards. On the right there is a large smoker lounge which is skillfully covered with green plants and a glass wall. In this room there is also a large flat screen TV on the wall. Here, almost all football matches are transferred to SKY. When you pass by, you come directly to the counters. On the left is a large area for non-smoking. At the first moment you have the feeling that it's pretty dark in here. The rather dark furniture makes it kind of comfortable. I was looking for a table at the window. Since it was still relatively early noon, this was also no problem, because there were only three tables occupied. The waiter brought me the menu and asked me about my drink request. He was very nice and really good. I noticed this a little later when he snuck around with the guests at the side table. I ordered a little Alsterwasser. I ran through the menu and discovered an additional card with ten different tribal foods offered here from Monday to Friday. From the farmer's breakfast to the oven potato or rather macaroni with a rag? Everything really sounded delicious. The menu will be extended on weekends, then they probably have more to choose from here. The dishes from the normal menu also sounded delicious, from Wiener Schnitzel with Pommes Frites, a vegetable pan, large and small salad plate to various pizzas the guest will find a really good selection of delicious dishes. I decided for the tribal dinner number two: kiln potatoes with herbal cucumber, chicken breast strips and a salad dress. The whole thing for good 5 euros. Also my Alsterwasser did not feel as expensive, 2.20 euros for a Alsterwasser is completely fine. So I had a good and very tasty lunch for 7.20 euros. In the background, Italian music played quietly on the radio all the time. I felt this as very relaxing, so I felt quite comfortable here too. Unfortunately, it has not been asked in the meantime whether everything is okay. But when paying, I was asked if I was satisfied, of course, what I said. The next time I'm gonna try the carving out here, it looked very good. It was served on the side table). I left the restaurant again. I'm looking forward to the next time.
