Really looked forward to an afternoon tea with friends sadly our experience left us disheartened. Upon arrival a friendly server took our orders and explained that unlimited hot beverages were included in the afternoon tea. We were baffled to be told there were no teaspoons available as they were all in the wash this was a Saturday afternoon and we were one of three tables which we found amusing as we were given table and dessert spoons to choose from. When our food arrived I was surprised to find my vegetarian options were served on the same plate as the meat, I 'm not one to cause a fuss but others might. We had to constantly ask for more cutlery, napkins, a 2nd refill (which took a long time to receive after being left on the bar and were cold when we received them and plates- the staff weren 't attentive. One couple walked and stood waiting to be seated a few mins before someone noticed, it was so awkward as at this point there were only 2 tables in use. We asked for our bill and they charged us for the refills and a service charge, they removed the refills without question (do they deliberately try and overcharge! I might try another branch but not Kidderminster.

As for parking, the Weavers Wharf car park is the closest option, and since it was in the evening, we didn't have to pay; otherwise, it operates on a pay-and-display basis. Regarding kid-friendliness, we had two grandchildren with us, and they were well taken care of. Service: Dine-in.
