Monster's Khao Lak - Khao Yoi

Ideal place for families with small children, beautiful facilities and children's club. on the bad note the breakfast is not appealing and inferior. beautiful location directly near beaches and small village with very good restaurant, schneider, massagen; the usual amount of business.

Here at the moment. beautiful size, beautifully furnished room. we live in a family room with views of the garden. limited space for hanging items, own clothes and towel. the breakfast is good, mix of local and international food. I love the fresh fruit and the omelette station. juices are super sweet, not fresh fruit juices. pool area for children has been renovated since our last visit four years ago. they have added a surf pool, it is quite expensive, but looks like fun! more chairs in the pools that are needed, please!

A nightmare. the room we arrived was nothing like the pictures. it overlooked an ugly pond and a shaved playground. we asked for a change of the room to something with view of the beach and were told that these rooms were not available, then later said they were guests for higher priority (we stayed for 8 nights. After asking for a refund, they finally gave us the better room. the breakfast was also terrible. the “fresh” ingredients for eier had fly and made. the rest of the options were majority asian (not a problem because it was in asia, but only a heads-up to the west. after our incident with the room upgrade and complain about madenfood, the personal showed a certain level-animity for us (highly unusual for thailand. they are not deceived by the high rating of the hotel. it is nothing like the reviews or the pictures.

As 4 star hotel..2 best. as you can see from photos when they are luxurious, please avoid. that was a deluxe room! the breakfast was again moderate, limited choice, needs a renovation. flur dark, no lighting in the night, slippery under foot. positiw. beach

We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights and had a pretty appalling experience overall. The hotel looks nothing like it does in the photos and we were entirely misled. We asked for a room change due to the dilapidated condition of the room we were put in and the disappointing view of their gaudy tacky kids playground and green lake full of dangerous monitor lizards. Our experience with the breakfast was shocking as well. Almost all the food was cold, flies covered almost everything uncovered and there were maggots in my fiancés food, as well as dead ants in my coffee. They finally moved us to a better room after having to spend 3 days of our holiday arguing with the receptionists, which is why I’d rate them two stars instead of one. However, I would not return to this hotel again and recommend that everyone stay elsewhere, we explored and found that the Eden hotel down the beach as well as the Ocean Breeze hotel were some of the nicest in Khao Lak.
