Grand Barrack - Khandwa

Very good hotel ,staff is very supportive, one night stay at this hotel..

This is the best hotel I 've ever seen in my life! Everything just improved so much. Is this hotel also associated with the boy from the movie Lion ? It would be amazingly cool.

Average experience Room is clean but the Ac remote is not working and lamp also not working and tv is not re-charged

The hotel is very basic. The only interesting fact is that they are in a heritage building which was a military barracks during british time. And the cafe here has a good ambient feel. The feel of the heritage it has can be better restored and the services can also be much improved with little improvements and upgradation. The hotel is cheap if you are searching under budget stay.

Good comfortable stay for a night or two in Khandwa. The structure is magnificent, probably 160+ years old as claimed by the host. Somehow while trying to convert the old military barrack into a hotel, they got stuck midway. I think it would have been better if they had given the interiors either a raw traditional look or an ultra modern look. The walkthrough sort-of wardrobe wash-basin beside the washroom is quite unique. Non-vegetarians please note they serve only vegetarian food and you are allowed to carry have outside food. AC is window type, so expect associated typical issues. On the whole, however it was a good experience.
