Contribuiți la feedbackI was there today with a friend and we had a very good lunch. Although the place is located in a market full of life, the atmosphere was pleasant and it looked nice. The service was very good (fast and friendly) and the waiters were all cute. :)The menu offers a variety of dishes with Lebanese specific, but they were creative with some of the dishes. I would recommend the hummus with minced meat (lamb and veal) - which is one of their specials. The price for two persons, sharing different dishes and eating to the fullest, was 44 EUR.
It's in the middle of the Naschmarket, a long, functional market. It feels like it belongs in the pop-up restaurant scene in Brixton, London. Simple and cheap tables and chairs, no thrills, quick (perhaps too quick) and efficient service. It's not particularly cheap, although perhaps that's just Vienna, but the food is oh so delicious. It's more than your average hummus bar. Best selection of hummus I've ever had - classic, beetroot, and (the best) mango curry. Everything was delicious and unusual. Mains stretch beyond the Middle East to Korea and Japan. Bold flavours. Not to everyone's taste. If you are after a fine dining experience, a budget dinner, or a lengthy relaxed meal, then don't come here. If you are into taste sensation, then this place is highly recommended.ps. They only take cash
We went to the Naschmarkt on a morning after breakfast and decided to go back the following day to get some breakfast there. We decided to get some breakfast at Neni and it didn't disappoint us. The food was delicious (we ordered a breakfast for two) and the atmosphere was quite good too!
I could go here and just have hte hummas and pita bread all the time. The other food is very good as well but the hummus is amazing. It's a great location for a quick bite, have eaten lunch here a few times. I don't go for dinner beause it has always been (too) busy. The staff are very rushed, though friendly so I don't find it relaxing for dinner.
Happened across this gorgeous place whilst wandering aimlessly through Vienna. Sorry to be boring but there is nothing to rave about and nothing to complain about- it does precisely what it says on the tin.Had a glass of wine and the chilli-humours-pita bread Main. The sauv Blanc was cold, wet and around. The meal I chose- c 12 euro- was fine- would have preferred a stronger chilli - overall the chilli and humous blanded together with the pita bread. (Wishing I'd stashed my salt and pepper to be honest.) But wasn't bad by any means. The menu claims Mediterranean fare- certainly not traditional Austrian grub. But if you want to people watch in a unique setting (ie absent the hoards of tourists in the old town) you couldn't go wrong w Neni. Oh and I forgot- their coffee was the best I've had in 2 weeks!!!!
