Glunz Ocean Beach Resort

Best place to stay in the Keys! I loved my stay at Glunz, it is a beautiful, peaceful resort with a white sand beach and a yummy restaurant right next door. Loved waking up and enjoying breakfast on the beach. All the ladies at the front desk were lovely as well, check in was easy and I enjoyed great customer service through out my stay! This was my second time in this very nice hotel. The location is fantastically beautiful, right on the beach. Our room was on the ground floor and so we were directly on the beach in two steps. There are enough loungers and parasols including towels. There is also a pool including a whirlpool. An outdoor restaurant with bar makes your stay perfect. Absolute recommendation from us. Rooms: Nice rooms, very clean. There are also rooms with wheelchair access.

Our family of 4 stayed here a few nights early in Oct 2023. GREAT location! Easy access to just about anywhere you 'd want to go in the middle keys. They also have a nice little beach! (Another seaside resort we stayed in also has a beach but it was basically unusable My kids (and wife loved the beach here. Seriously. The kids are water babies. They also loved the pool! All the people we interacted with in the office were very nice and friendly. We had a double queen room that fit us just fine though a little cramped. The two things that kept me from a 5 star review are kind of minus 0.5 per thing so take that for what you will. First: Our room was pretty musty. I get it. Totally get it. Seaside resort, super humid environment. It is what it is. Got used to it quickly. But if you have severe mold/mildew allergies beware. Second: the mattresses in our room were both rock hard. I 'm a side sleeper and I could hardly sleep. Again I get it. It 's a hotel with lots of mattresses and they literally can 't please everyone. My wife and kids slept fine...so I guess I 'm the issue and not the mattress. : Again that 's just for your information.
