The Takeaway Kewarra Beach

The staff were incredibly nice and went out of their way to take care of our children, even offering wipes when ice melted everywhere. There’s nothing to complain about regarding the service, price, or cleanliness. However, the food was quite a different story. My scallops were rock-hard, tasted of old oil, and appeared burnt, with the carrot inside also being very hard. The chips were similarly disappointing, to the point where we had to throw them away because the children wouldn’t even touch them after tasting. I struggled to eat about half of my meal, which is unfortunate since the restaurant seemed like a place where people would enjoy their food.

The dining experience was fantastic, with a welcoming atmosphere and pleasant service. The food was served quickly, and instead of just calling out names, they brought it directly to us at the front while we waited. I would definitely recommend this place!

The chips were burnt. The fish had bones, a fish scale on it and did not taste nice. The BLT was unsauced and again did not taste good.

"Customers are spending a lot of money these days, and it’s disappointing to see that the restaurant doesn’t seem to prioritize quality. Using a filter to change the oil only when it’s necessary, serving overcooked food, and mixing old fries with fresh ones is simply unfair, especially considering the number of patrons they have. I would rate the food a 1/5, the service a 3/5, and the atmosphere a 1/5."

I have a small chip and can only eat about 10 chips. the man who works there is extremely rude and would obviously be somewhere else. extremely disappointing especially when they continue to try to support local businesses, and that is the terrible quality they receive
