Red Earth Cafe - Kewanee

We got here on Saturday, 10. August 2019, during a camping trip at Johnson Sauk stopped for lunch. It is a family restaurant with a warm, comfortable atmosphere and good food. The view of the lake is also very beautiful. My daughter had the inherited chicken and I had a burger with fries that were both very good. The menu is not huge, but there is a decent selection. Do not expect fast food, because it takes some time to prepare food and they do not seem to have much help. Nevertheless, the lady waiting for us was very pleasant and attentive. My daughter and I shared a delicious piece of strawberry shortcake after lunch and it was refreshing! We would definitely come back, and I think we would try a piece of cake next time! NOTE: They do not seem to have a well, but they have both doses of pepsi and coke products.

Great food! The view of the lake is fantastic! Great place to relax and enjoy a good meal! But save space for a piece of her homemade cake!
