Close to the main row of bars, stores and restaurants. Best part is how friendly and helpful the staff is to guests. Have stayed there a couple of times and never disappointed.
Pretty nice restaraunt with lots of options. The only thing I could see that was wrong was the service. They were very nice just had to ask for a refill a couple of times. Other than that I would highly recommend.
I had the Halibut blueberry salad. It could have been a little fuller but it was OK. My 2 friends however, had fish and chips. There was so much breading on it that they had to take it off and found littlest pieces of halibut. I will never order order fish and chips there, and I'm sure they won't either.
Terrible! Three of the drapes were torn and sagging so you could not have privacy at night. I have pictures to prove how bad! The bed was so high, I had to climb onto an arm of the leather chair at then crawl onto the bed. The coffee pot would not work so when I called the night desk clerk, he said if I wanted a cup of coffee from the reception area I would have to pay for it! Then he came up to find out it would ONLY work if a full pot was made . .not just one cup. He attitude was surly and rude! There was no grab bar in the shower. There was not bath mat outsde the tub shower The tile on the bottom of the shower had no non-skid mat. And, they charged me $390 for one night with NO MEALS INCLUDED. WARNING . . my accommodations were terrible. I have travelled over 80 countries . . and what I found here was unacceptable!!
I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The Cape Fox Lodge was beautiful inside and out. We had an amazing view of downtown Ketchikan from our room and the beds were extremely comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant and both were delicious. We were disappointed that the funicular that goes down to Creek Street was out of order when we were there but otherwise it was perfect.
