Apetito Étterem - Keszthely

Had dinner here a while ago. Was quite disappointing. We got the bacon wrapped chicken, gnocchi and the pork knuckle. The chicken and the pork was extremely dry and having overly greasy potatoes didn't save it either. I've had pork knuckle multiple times before but it never seemed this gray. The skin in my experience is usually crispy and a bit chewy and the meat falls off the bone. But this was dry and tough. The gnocchi's cheese sauce was starchy feeling from the cheese being added at the wrong time, and the person who ate it felt sick the next day. We just went in on a whim but it was definitely not pleasant.

Friendly service and staff. Delicious food and strong coffee. Just overall 5star. Going to visit again soon.

I recently visited this restaurant and had high expectations, which the restaurant met. The waiter was quick, knowledgeable and attentive. He met all our needs. The food was delicious, warm, fresh and filling. (I ate chicken wrapped in bacon with cheese sauce, which was heavenly! The selection was also careful, providing vegan, poultry, beef, pork and lamb dishes. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, outside in the evening, with candles provided by the waiter.
