Heritage Kitchen - Kerrville

Eating was fresh and good, but it wasn't good enough to make heritage kitchen for me a regular dinner. both salads were not tolerated with the dressing. a small amount of dressing was added to the top and the diner had to get dressing distributed everywhere. the main taste in garnel and grumbling that I think was chili powder? it was not aboutjun or the carolina low country styles, I love it. garnelen served in the sauce with cocks, but there was no side plate to her up when she removed it. the place has potential but not this evening. very limited wine list. the support of the wine industry in Texas is a great step, but they were from several of the selections.

That was the second time we were there. eating was really better than we first went. in the did my steak was amazing that visit. this time they mixed our steaks. my friend cooked the medium while I got his medium rare. since we both ordered the same cut (except he has a bigger steak) we have just turned over plates. I had asked for brusselsprossen instead of kartoffeln, but my order came with kartoffeln. they did it right and corrected the error. I think they were short of service because this time it took much longer. I'd still go back because it's good to eat, maybe they had a bad night!

Our Server was so nice and tried to make our experience the best. She made us feel so welcome. She is very knowledgeable about the menu. The food is very good and different then the other restaurant which is a nice change. Priceline is perfect. Nice surprise when you go inside. I had passed by many times but did not go in since you can’t see inside. A few plants or bench on sidewalk could make it more appealing. Great new place.

Would only recommend for Lunch. Relaxed atmosphere. Steak was just ok. Not a lot of flavor. More like cooked on griddle than grilled. Asked for side salad, told only salad with meat, so we had to get a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken to go with our steak. The side was a tiny bite of spinach, maybe a fork full. Overpriced for the quality. Maybe a good piece of meat, but not cooked right that night for sure. Have been for lunch and really liked everything we have had!
