Tokyo Town Teriyaki - Kent

The food was decent, but the service and atmosphere were unwelcoming, making the experience feel uncomfortable. I noticed that staff members, particularly women, were using the same pair of gloves to handle multiple tasks. As someone who is knowledgeable about infection control, I find this extremely unhygienic. I only dined here once and likely won't return. Food rating: 4/5.

The Chicken Teriyaki, Chicken Katsu, and Beef dishes are all fantastic. This place serves the best Teriyaki in Kent. I've tried all the others, and this one is definitely my favorite!

The teriyaki is flavorful and the portion sizes are generous. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the service is friendly and welcoming. Overall, I’d rate the food a 4 out of 5.

For years, I would always get food at this location but today will be my last day getting food from there, why?? Because I was yelled at by an employee, she got upset at me for pouring soda into the water cup, yes I know I shouldn’t have done that and it’s my fault and I deeply apologize from the bottom of my heart, but she shouldn’t have yelled at me like that in front of her coworkers they were all looking at me too after she yelled at me, she made me cry afterwards. I feel so embarrassed because of it, thank you so much for the delicious food thank you for your services, but you guys just lost a regular customer.

I don’t normally do this, but since I was there with my daughter visiting her town and since I don’t live in that town, I think the feedback will be important for changes. 68$ lunch (with water) that was supposed to be dining in, however, we were served in styrofoam containers at our table…did I mention we were eating in?! We ordered shrimp tempura with four VERY small pieces for 9$, both meals had VERY small portions overall and were wayyyyy over priced. The chicken in cashew nut chicken tasted weird, daughters chicken teriyaki/beef was good but was mostly rice. They crammed her side salad, scoop mac salad, two scoops of rice and both meats in one small container….sound right?? Nope! The Mac salad was worth the two stars and was very good. With the 68$ was an $11 tip but we served our own waters and no serving was done except for bringing us our styrofoam containers. Feedback: improve meat, up the portion sizes, serve on plates with forks/knives, and if you expect a tip…please check to see if we need napkins and/or like the food please. Wish would’ve e gotten pics.
