Tavern In The Square Shrewsbury

This location hasn?t opened yet but it looks like the best one I?ve seen. They?ve got a large convertible patio in the front that looks like it will be great during the summer, either to sit ?outside? or just to get a lot of fresh air moving through. Besides that, the inside looks like most other Tavern in the Squares. Website says it will open in the spring. As of late February, they have signs up to indicate they are hiring for all positions.

Was hesitant to try this new trendy restaurant in the area. I really thought are options would consist of a turkey burger, gluten free bun, with a vegan side lol. I was pleasantly surprised that their was dishes for any pallet , we had the chips and guacamole (which was delicious and all natural! Brussels sprouts and Carb Rangoon's for starters. I had the steak and avocado salad while friends had fried chicken Cobb salad general tso chicken (pic not included anothersalad which of course I can?t remember the name, all were incredible. I also had a pomegranate spritzer made table side (I believe the waitress said the flower was edible but didn?t try it lol Great service, great food, great atmosphere,can?t ask for much more, will definitely be back. ????

This location is different than the others of this restaurant I've been too. It's much bigger! The service was good. There are a few vegan apps but it would be good to see more options.
