The Rising Sun Inn - KENSINGTON GARDENS

We haven't been for many years and were soon captured by his rustic charm. John was an excellent host fast drinks and dinner menus for our big group. There was a good selection of dishes. My salmon ceviche was beautifully decorated with edible flowers. My grilled lamb was perfectly cooked and delicate. The kitchen and service were well organized and efficient a very relaxed and pleasant meal!

Fantastic- friendly professional- four of us had dinner and it was sensational. Grant ensured that the fillet steaks were cooked according to our individual preferences for perfection and my specific concern very much understood: Steve was very entertaining. WOW what a hidden gem this pub has old world sea charm with first class shelf beer garden meals for the whole family. Meals were delicious classic great pub served I took 1/2 my parmie house) staff friendly helpful with great smiles on a busy night 5 stars recommend you guys for sure “big job”

Decor was stunning, comfortable warm with the open fireplaces. Food was great, good selection of wines. Went with a few mates, but would definitely say date night worthy.

A hidden gem outside the city. As you walk up you don’t notice it till you are right in front of the door. Inside has such a warm and welcoming feeling. The food is unique and tasty and the waiter we had was amazing. Looking forward to going again.
