Canvas - Kensington and Chelsea

I had made a reservation at this restaurant, but upon arrival, I found that it was closed and has been closed for two months, with the hotel next door taking over. It was not a great experience to be in western London without a reservation elsewhere. I would advise them to update their OpenTable status so that customers are not inconvenienced by showing up to a closed restaurant. It was frustrating to still see the restaurant listed on the system and being asked to check in.

The restaurant unexpectedly shut down without any notification, signage, or phone call to customers who had made reservations.

We came across this restaurant online and decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. Despite hearing positive feedback, our experience was a total disaster. The service was terrible, with an American server getting our order completely wrong. The food was a disappointment as well, with the steak being undercooked and the chicken joojeh dry and flavorless. Don't waste your time at this place - it seems like the management and staff are incompetent. Consider yourself warned about this serious letdown.

Food was not all great, dry bland. good selection of wines. nice place with music service was a delight, a young man took care of us superb. he suggested a few cocktails first at the bar. really enjoyable
