Contribuiți la feedbackThe coffee was the only redeeming quality of this restaurant. Unfortunately, the pastries were dry, the atmosphere was average, and the restroom facilities were terrible.
We stopped in for a late lunch and received quick and friendly service. The food was nicely presented and the atmosphere was inviting for conversation. The prices were reasonable at £23 for 2 main dishes and 2 drinks. Overall, the food was surprisingly good!
This restaurant reminds me of the coffee bars I frequented in 1965. The owner is present, attentive, polite, and good-humored, but the food is much better than it was fifty years ago. The coffee is excellent, and they offer a good selection of pastries, sandwiches, and salads. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with a mix of local residents, tourists, and people stopping in quickly. If I lived closer to this part of Chelsea, I would definitely be a regular customer.
This is a superb, peaceful little cafe in the middle of the bustling King's Road. The menu is simple, but the food is superb and the staff very welcoming.
We had an excellent vegetable lasagna with salad and an added advantage of sweet potatoes, for example, sautéed lubine that brought to the table a couple of minutes later as a little bit extra. My friend had spinach pie that said it was good too. Although it was time to eat, the coffee was more or less empty, which did not seem a good sign, but should not have gone up to conclusions that was very good and at a very reasonable price, since it is Chelsea after all.
