Contribuiți la feedbackThe chef needs to put more effort in. I went with 8 friends and we all agreed that the food was not good. The service and atmosphere were nice, but the food was awful. Vegetarian/vegan dishes can be delicious with some creativity in textures, spices, and flavors, which this restaurant lacked.
My friends and I, who are Londoners and have been to many of the city's top restaurants, decided to visit Tiny Leaf after hearing about it from friends and researching it. Despite having high expectations and some skepticism about its vegan and zero waste credentials, we were blown away by our experience. The service was exceptional and made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and had a wonderful mix of flavors. Even as a big meat eater, I didn't miss meat because the dishes were so satisfying. The mushroom risotto, kimchi rice cake, and curry were particularly outstanding. The bread and organic wine were also impressive. The restaurant’s commitment to being healthy, vegan, and zero waste was evident and added to the overall enjoyment of the experience. The space was great, and we could have easily stayed for hours. The quality of the food, service, and location made it great value for money. I highly recommend Tiny Leaf and can't wait to go back!
The restaurant was pleasant, but we were disappointed with the food. There were limited menu options, and two out of the three main courses we tried were bland and unappetizing. However, the desserts were more enjoyable.
It's a nice looking pub, and very cosy, but the service is remarkably slow. We had to ask to see menus, remind of the orders, things got forgotten. The odd part that it seemed there was just as many staff, as clients, but that seemed to create more chaos. The bizarre thing was when we asked if the heating was on, as it was boiling in there, with all the people, and the kitchen working hard, we were told it wasn't. Just before we left we noticed the radiator behind our seats, that was boiling hot. The food was nice, but I can't say it's worth enduring the slow service or the effort to make the trip specially to the place.
Surprised by extremely slow drinks service, not just cocktails where you would understand. But it still has lovely ambiance and decor from when we were regulars several years ago.
