Black Blue Steakhouse Notting Hill Gate

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff. Food was excellent and served in a timely manner. Nice selection of dishes drinks on the menu. We will return.

I don't know why Black @Blue restaurants don't say so, but this restaurant is closed and has been for months. We've seen all the chairs, tables etc being removed so it obviously isn't going to reopen either. I'm sorry we had excellent meals there with a top-class staff.

Did some research on trip advisor ,found this restaurant with good reviews and decided to give it a try . Was also just few minutes walk from our hotel so looked perfect for us.We were a party of four people and we were not disappointed . We ordered steaks and fish and all was good. Desserts were also delicious . If in London will be back.

Aftera long train ride to London was looking for a quick bite in Notting Hill and stumbled on Black Blue. Was given a table by the window to enjoy the people watching and ordered a burger and fries with a cold beer. Food was served quickly and the wait staff was very helpful with tips around the area. Would definitely stop back here again

I have been dining and lunching at Black Blue for more than fifteen years and it has never disappointed, including today. Our Cote de Boeuf steak for two (600g, £42) was a bargain, given that it includes two portion of fries, different sauces and large salad. The quality of meat was superb, accurately cooked medium rare, and we chose to accompany it with three grilled prawns, also expertly grilled with garlic sauce to go with, making this a surf and turf heaven, with a great presentation. Our carafe of Portuguese Tinto wine was great with the steak and desserts (chocolate brownie and cheesecake) round off the meal nicely, with some Languedoc Sauvignon Blanc. In the past we had burgers and all designations of steak, plus the divine grilled garlic prawns many times at this branch and at other ones in London. I have been to Goodman, Hawksmoor and Gaucho, all big names for steak in London and I always tell me friends this place much better, and today’s heavenly food proved my point yet again. Guys, thank you for the nice steak and service (BTW, service charge goes straight to staff). Nice way to start our Christmas.
