Waterside Restaurant Lakeside Inn

We had the day's special: Cajun Shrimp Pasta $18. The service was excellent, the view fantastic! Nice atmosphere where you can have a quiet, leisurely meal and impress the wife at the same time!

Was very impressed with the Sunday brunch, good food lots of variety and great value. Even had a senior special. It is on main floor so unfortunately no view. Have eaten in this Inn in past years and wasn't very good. But chef is much better and would recommend it now. Plan on going back this year before close cottage.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had a very pleasant experience.The hotel was clean and quiet but what really stood out for us was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We were made to feel welcome and very much at home. We had eaten at the hotel restaurant years ago and had been disappointed with the food. However, we decided to give the breakfast a try and we were happy we did. The Eggs Benedict was very nice and had real ham instead of the expected processed slice of meat. The hollandaise sauce was made from scratch.There is also an excellent Sunday buffet which offers a good selection of breakfast and lunch items for a very reasonable price($14.99/per person). We stayed in a king room on the 5th floor with a lake view and loved the comfortable mattress with lots of king sized pillows. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to our family and friends.

Spent a week at the Clarion hotel, the restaurant is on an upper floor with amazing views of the lake. I had a few meals here during my stay. The breakfast menu offers good options and is reasonably priced. For dinner you can eat in the dining room or the lounge. There is a separate menu in the lounge with lighter fare than the dining room menu, but you can order from either menu when in the lounge (great views here too). Recommend the Walleye and the chicken wings were excellent ( wing night is Wednesday, the locals told me they are the best in town).Service was a little hit and miss (just a little slow sometimes), it seemed to get better as the week went on, overall no major complaints.

Three of us attended for Sunday breakfast. The view is out of this world, esp on this sunny day. The breakfasts took a little longer to arrive than we are used to here. Meals arrived as ordered. Service was fast, friendly and helpful. Decor is fab esp with the renos completed. Noise level is good, seating comfortable. We will return
