Lake of the Woods Brewing Company

The food was ok and the service was good but because it was busy it was very very slow. We probably spent over two hours because of how busy it was. I do not blame the staff for this at all, they were running but I definitely think it's worth waiting until less busy times. The building itself is very neat to see but when it is packed it's hard to see it all.

The wedding party & guests met on the second floor room. We were served appetizers during the night ( good & various ) and a good bar service. staff all very professional

Stopped here for lunch and to sample the beer. Ordered a beer flight (5 samples), there were lots of choices, I asked the server to choose for me based on my tastes. This was great as I got to try some beer that I likely wouldn't have otherwise. Had the shore lunch BLT with coleslaw, it was very good. The menu offers good variety, something for every taste.

This is the place to go in Kenora for fun dining!!! We always make sure to bring by our cottage guests here!!

As craft breweries and their companion pubs and restaurants have become all the rage, it becomes harder to find the really good ones. Lake of the Woods Brewing Company is one of the best I have sampled in a while. Besides an excellent range of beers and ales, Lake of the Woods offers an extensive menu of hearty, tasty pub food. Service is fast, friendly and knowledgeable, even during a very busy lunchtime. If you want something different try the blueberry beer or the spruce ale.We hadn't been through Kenora in many years and had forgotten the enchanting beauty of Lake of the Woods. When heading west on the Trans Canada be sure to spend some time in this beautiful Northwestern Ontario city and be sure to stop in at Lake of the Woods Brewery..
