Capriotti's Sandwich Shop - Kennesaw

This sandwich shop is truly the best I've had in a long time. I ordered the Philly Chicken sandwich with onions, extra sweet peppers, extra lettuce, and tomatoes. It was finely chopped and seasoned to perfection—absolutely delicious! Oh my! This is the place to be. Forget about the imitations; try the real deal, right here in the South, away from Philly!

My husband I are from out of town and stopped here for lunch while driving through and oh my GOSH will we be back! Our sandwiches were so delicious (10/10 recommend the vegetarian turkey my vegetarian pals my husband loved the Bobbie). The staff was also super friendly and helpful. We'll be sure to stop back by whenever we're back in the area!

They offer excellent vegetarian options! The food was tasty, but it took a bit longer to arrive than expected. Unfortunately, they were out of a few items we wanted to try.

First up was the Italian sausage, which I had without marinara. It was really good, with a nice kick to it. Next, I tried the pastrami with coleslaw, and that was a standout dish—fantastic pastrami! Then came the turkey salad, which offers a choice of barbecue sauce or salad dressings. While the salad itself was delicious, the turkey was a bit dry, which was unfortunate because it could have been excellent with moister meat. The fourth item I tried was the cole turkey sub. Similar to the salad, this was tasty but suffered from the same issue: dry turkey. The coleslaw on the side helped alleviate that dryness. Lastly, I had the turkey sub as well. Again, it could have been great if the turkey had been more moist. However, the sub bread was excellent, and they offer both sweet pepper relish and hot pepper relish, which were both delightful. I noticed they have a Bobby Sub that features turkey, cranberry sauce, and stuffing, which sounded intriguing. It’s a massive sandwich, measuring 18 inches long—definitely enough for several meals. Unfortunately, the drink selection only features Pepsi, which is a downside for me. Despite my disappointment with the turkey, I'm keen to return to try other menu items. Initially, I would have rated this place about a 3.5 out of 5, but I bumped it up to a 4 for its uniqueness and the overall quality of the other dishes. It is a bit on the pricey side, but the generous portions make it worthwhile.

My neighbor recommended this spot for a great cheesesteak. Horrible experience. Arrived yesterday to be told that they were only accepting online orders.. (unsure if their system was having issues or why that was the case . I downloaded the app and placed an order for a medium cheesesteak sub (almost $14.00 by the way for a medium! my sub takes forever to come out. My girlfriend was almost completely finished with her Italian sandwich when I finally got mine. The steak was burnt to a crisp. See photos. Took one bite and had to throw it away. I didn?t want to cause a scene as I was pretty upset in the moment, so I just left. Not one to really ever complain, but this was just an awful experience. I?m sure the food could be good if cooked right.
