We discovered LBG through the Texas Bucket List show, and as an enthusiastic backyard vegetable gardener, I was thrilled to see their farm-to-table theme. Over the past 18 months, we’ve made several trips for Sunday lunch and live music, and we always have a wonderful time. The buffet is quite impressive, although I'm still hoping to see success with their vegetable gardens—I'm rooting for you! On a delicious note, they serve the best carrot cake I've ever had. Sunday lunch features a delightful variety of Southern country dishes that remind me of my childhood in East Texas. It's about an hour and a half drive for us, so it turns into a full-day event. We aim to arrive around noon and definitely stay until the live music wraps up. It's absolutely worth the money and effort to break away from our usual restaurant routine. Making a reservation a few days in advance is easy; while it's not necessary, it’s recommended as it helps them plan for the event. Wishing you continued success!

Second time coming here when visiting my Mother that lives in the area. I live in Atlanta and do not venture to many rural areas often. The first time in April, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the excellent service. This time waseven better. Such a great atmosphere with the dining area decorations and the live music. So far from everything. But this isall you need and more. Will be back again.

Upon arriving for Sunday lunch, I found my name on my table. From there, I could pour a pitcher of tea or even brew my own coffee. And when the buffet doors swung open, it felt like a stampede! The array of delicious dishes was impressive, and most of it was farm-to-table. The dressings were heavenly, along with the potatoes, deviled eggs, brisket, stuffing, cheesecake—everything was incredible! You simply have to go!

We visited LBG for the first time last Sunday. We arrived early for the worship service and stayed for lunch. Both experiences were absolutely amazing, and we will definitely be returning more often. The drive took us over an hour, but it was well worth the time.

We have visited the farm several times and we absolutely LOVE it! Our favorite cabin is ?Grandaddy?s Place? although all the cabins we have stayed in have been very charming and clean. The pool and the property is great. Go check it out for yourself,you will not be disappointed.
