Pf Mccarthys - Kenmare

What can I say: we came here at late lunch-time just to drink a couple of beers. The house was crowded with foreign tourists and the staff was stressed even because many of the customers had troubles with the English language... to catch and pay for 2 pints of Guinness wasn 't that easy, but after a while we got 'em and could find a table in the backyard Never expected such a crowd but this small town is on the Ring of Kerry which brings a lot of business Good for them!

One of the few bar/pub type places we stopped by that had really good and fresh food! Excellent lunch spot

Everything was delicious. Chowder was full of high quality fresh fish! Goats cheese very tasty and lots of it. Longways Elderflower cider a great drink with both.

Great for a traditional music session every evening in the summer.

Couldn't wish for a better experience, delicious food, great menu, friendly helpful staff, fantastic live traditional music and a relaxed atmosphere. Can't recommend the place highly enough.
