Kenai River Pizza

I absolutely adore this restaurant! We live a bit south in Anchor Point, and every time we visit The Home Depot in Kenai, we make sure to pick up one or two pizzas to take home. Originally from the lower 48, I've had the pleasure of enjoying some of the finest pizzas from renowned spots like Grimaldi's in New York. While this pizza isn't quite traditional New York or Chicago style, it's fantastic in its own right. It's far superior to Domino's or Pizza Hut. I really have a soft spot for small takeout and delivery places like this one. The staff are always friendly and welcoming!

I ordered their special of two large pizzas with two toppings for pickup, along with some garlic rolls. Since it was our first time trying their pizza, we were all pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, and we absolutely loved the garlic rolls. When we return to the area, we will definitely order from here again.

I was in town for work and needed to grab some food. I ordered a pizza late on a busy night and was informed upfront by the incredibly friendly guy making the pizza that there would be an hour wait. When the food finally arrived, it was fantastic—truly amazing American pizza! I decided to go with the Meat Lovers option.

I ordered the Greek salad, having previously tried it once before when it was made correctly—though it did come with a long dark hair in it. I decided to give them another chance, but this time, not only were some ingredients missing, but the portions were also half the size they should have been. When I called to address the issues, they refused to refund me or offer a replacement with properly made salads. It wasn't worth the money, and I won't be returning to this restaurant again.

Once the top pick for pizza in Kenai, this place has really declined. The last three pizzas my friends and I ordered were burnt to the point of being inedible. They need someone who knows what they're doing, because the last time I ordered pizza, I ended up going with Pizza Hut instead.
