Contribuiți la feedbackScotty's Pub on the Bay is a quirky small bar near Marina del Sol division to FM 2094. They have a decent selection of whisky, other spirits and some handcrafted ales. They also have a stage, dance floor, billiard tables and electronic display boards. There are many seats inside, as well as around the fireplace outside. There are some really delicious foods like the pigs belly tacos and crabs beignets. We had a really big Sunday brunch there once with fabulous **** Mary's, but not sure if they still do. The cook makes his own salt, and it is from this world! We always seem to have some great conversations with people there, as well as some of the bartenders.
Re- edited review. Great DJ on Saturday nights. Beautiful terrace also.
Had to end up just leaving because the bar keep was just ignoring a group of me and my friends I don’t know if they had an issue towards the color of my skin or what, but they were helping other people who were obviously lighter in complexion who had come after us we had been sitting there for over a couple of minutes trying to order obviously trying to get the barkeeps attention just to at least tend to us next with, no avail they were not having it it was obvious they were just purposely ignoring us to all of us, not just me, so we had to just up leaving and going down the street to bonez much more entertainment, and hospitality there to me it just doesn’t make sense how you would refuse service to a group of 5 people just trying to order and spend money
I brought a group of my friends here and will never again. There were many small minor problems like the smell or the quietness… but as I don’t really leave reviews often this time I felt I needed too because of how my friends were treated. Walking up to the bar nobody offered to help us or even greet us and say hello for that matter. We thought okay maybe they are a little backed up so we waited patiently. After 5 minutes we noticed people who looked to be regulars walking up and yelling drink orders at the 3 bartenders behind the bar and received their order immediately. Seeing this my reasonably frustrated friend asked if she could get a drink. The bartender she asked returned with “ we are in the middle of a shift change you have to be patient” in not so nice of a tone… 2 minutes later we watch her make somebody else who just walked up and asked a drink instantly. Honestly the only thought we had as a group was that we were really young compared to the rest of the crowd and was not respected. I guess if you aren’t a familiar face here you don’t get service which is a very funny business strategy. It’s sad because going here telling my friends about it I was excited and hyped up the place as a whole and did not expect for us to be completely disregarded and disrespected. We left after that and went to Bonez down the street where it was twice as busy but we were served almost instantly. If I could rate Scottie’s a 0 star rating i would, completely embarrassed me for suggesting we go.
If I could leave a negative I would. This place has went down hill very fast. There is a skinny dark haired girl that is a total B to pretty much anyone who doesn't tip big. She speaks to basic customers as if we don't belong there. What she fails to realize is we have grown up coming there and her attitude sucks. Went there on Friday and neither of the bartenders would even acknowledge that we showed up and sat at the bar. It has been **** poor customer service since Thanksgiving. We will take our money somewhere else.
