Sensational Sandwich Shop is truly one of the best spots around! The 12-inch sandwich is genuinely large, so only order it if you're prepared for a challenge or don't mind taking leftovers with you. We tried the Cheese Steak and an Italian sandwich, and they were fantastic! The window seats were cozy, the beer selection was decent, and the service was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. Without a doubt, Antoninis will become one of our go-to places for hearty sandwiches!

Shows the best subs you get in the larger area of Houston. My favorites are the Italian and the Cheesesteak Subs. They are always made with the freshest ingredients. Customer service is also Top Notch. I always think I'm a bite when I'm in the area... it never disappoints! Trust me, I'm a sub-director!

In addition, the cheese ended up on the bottom of the sandwich, causing it to break apart completely. The Italian sub was incredibly difficult to eat because the meat, placed on top of the lettuce and tomato, slipped out as soon as I tried to take a bite. I attempted to reposition the filling to close the sandwich, but the bread was too thick, and it just fell apart again. There was also a noticeable lack of oil, vinegar, or any dressing, resulting in a very dry sandwich. I’m honestly puzzled as to why this place has received so much praise, as I was deeply unimpressed. Perhaps it was just a one-off bad experience, and I’m willing to give it another try, but they need to make significant improvements to their subs. Save your time and look elsewhere for a better meal.

After exploring the nearby bars, we decided to stop for some late-night sober sandwiches. Our group tried the turkey sandwich, turkey steak, meatball, and roast beef. The food was excellent, and the service was pleasant. Just be sure to ask about the ingredients in the sandwiches so you can customize them to your liking.

This pic is the large cheese steak. It is the best cheese steak I've had in Texas. I'm a big fan of pepper relish on my CS and Antonnini's has done a great job with it. The onions were cooked perfectly and complimented the tasty and tender grill chopped steak. It comes with a sauce, which if I was guessing is a ketchsup, mayo base. It was a nice addition. Bread was grilled on the inside and soft on the outside. Now I want one for breakfast after writing this review.
