West Sakura Teriyaki Restaurant

Absolutely incredible sushi. Not cheap, not huge but absolutely incredible. Every time my visit to West Kelowna I coming this place to enjoy the sushi

We really liked the food at West Sakura. The restaurant is a bit small so get there early. It lacks a bit of atmosphere but the taste makes up for it.

Every time I come here the service exceptional and food amazing. So fresh and presentation is great! A must go to even if you live in Kelowna!

Ordered over $100 of food based on the excellent reviews only to find that the reviews are over inflated. Perhaps coming from the lower mainland with bigger, better and cheaper sushi spoils us. The service was good (young red hair girl) The California rolls awesome, Wonton soup was excellent, Agadashi Tofu laced with ginger was disappointing (drop the ginger!,) Tempura was good, Nigiri ok, Spinach Gomae was not good (lacked peanut sauce!) Bento box ho hum, Volcano Roll was $12.50 and their best roll which was good but $12.50!? Chicken Karage was decent, would return for sushi craving but all the raving reviews leaves us wondering why? It's good, not great, it's pricey, not cheap. When we're back this way would return mostly for convenience.

Absolutely the best sushi around - fresh and fast! Owner is so friendly and knows the regulars. Take out or dine in. There are only a few tables and are normally full, but it doesn't take long if you wait. Huge selection of rolls, applies, etc. Best value for a glass of wine we eat there at least once a week!
