Surf Side California - Kelowna

I had an amazing experience at Surf Side California! Their tacos are delicious and also healthy, made with fresh ingredients that won't ruin your diet. It's like fast food without all the unhealthy fats. The concept of a traveling restaurant is brilliant. I became a fan after trying their tacos at the Food Truck Fest. I'm so happy I went!

We have started heading to a happy hour at Sandhill Winery on Fridays.Every Friday they feature a different restaurant or this Friday a Food Truck.It was called Surf Side California Tacos. I had the Fish Taco and my hubby and friend had the Chicken Taco. I must say if there is a fish taco at any restaurant I go to I usually give it a try. So I fancy myself an expert. LOL. It was really good. Not sure where they usually are in the city but if you happen to see it stop in and try one.

I am a huge fan of this food truck! I finally discovered them in the fall of 2016 and have eaten there four times since...excited for having my first fish tacos of 2017 this week when they will be outside Tree Brewing! I have had the slow roasted pork tacos and the crispy shrimp tacos which are very flavorful, but my absolute favorite is the fish tacos, they are absolutely amazing! The pico de gallo on the fish tacos is outstanding. I have always had really friendly customer service from the owners and staff. Everyone needs to hunt down this taco truck...pronto!

We had the fish tacos and they were delicious! The fish was good and the toppings were very fresh. The staff members were friendly and our meal was prepared quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they take debit as well as cash (2 tacos for $10). We went for lunch on a Wednesday and discovered that the Landmark location listed on the internet is actually Landmark Centre located at 1631 Dickson Avenue. We are not from Kelowna and struggled to find the truck, as our google search brought up two different Landmark cinemas. We hope this helps others find the truck and enjoy a wonderful lunch.
