El Taquero - Kelowna

I recently dined at this restaurant that has a selection of vegan dishes on the menu. The server was very helpful in ensuring that all of my choices were completely vegan. I ended up enjoying the Taquitos and the Vegano Burritos.

There are not many choices for Mexican food in this town, especially when it comes to finding vegan options. However, this restaurant deserves credit for providing plant-based menu items. The burrito is superior to the tacos, which were lacking in flavor. Since the restaurant also serves meat and there is a risk of cross-contamination, be sure to remind them to prepare your meal vegan.

In town for a Baseball tournament and we were staying nearby.

I love this place, easily my favourite taco joint this side of the Mississip.

A fantasic little taco joint with some of the most delicious Mexican food that I've had outside of Mexico.
