Bai Tong Thai Food Restaurant - Kelowna

This is an authentic Thai restaurant. The food was good and the owner very carefully explained the ingredients and made sure if we wanted the authentic version or the Canadian version. The staff were friendly and the overall it was a pleasant experience.

Came with a group of 6, the waitress promptly seated us and got us our drinks. We were unsure what to order, and the Owner approached our table and offered to choose the entrees for us- he guaranteed it, or it would be free. Needless to say, we were blown away by the quality and quantity of the food. I've walked by this restaurant dozens of times. I'll make it a regular stop from now on!

We decided on a couples night out. My wife loves Thai food so we decided on Bai Tong as it was right downtown. We were able to get a table right away and then the WAIT started. We were super hungry and waited 15 minutes for someone to ask us for drinks. We ordered our food right away knowing staff was busy. We then waited for 1 hour before our food arrived and it was luke warm. For that one hour we were not asked for drinks or apologized for wait so long. No one came, once food arrived owner asked us if we want chillies (cause we are East Indian) that's about it.After we got the cheque we had waiters come by every 10 seconds if we needed a machine or cash. It was pathetic. owner needs a lesson customer service 101. The waitresses were working hard so don't blame them.

A nice break from the burger and fries routine. Very nice restaurant with a patio facing the main drag through Kelowna, Bernard Street. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and some very good Thai food. The service was great, and it seems that most of the servers were part of the family that owns the place. The food was genuinely authentic and reasonably priced. Service was efficient and prompt. Nice restaurant.

Nice restaurant, food is really good. Staff are friendly. It is a little slow but worth the wait. Would definitely visit again.
