It was degrading and disrespectful. I hope and pray that 's not how he 's treated at home. That 's no way to be a manager and certainly even less of a way to be a father. To echo your own words: don 't apologize, be better. ORIGINAL POST: Never in my life have I seen an owner/manager be so rude to their own staff. I was appalled by his behavior. The poor server was just trying to take and enter our order, while all I hear from the manager in a condescending and berating tone was Hurry, hurry , NO! Do it like this! , Stop apologizing and just do it right! . I 'm sure he didn 't think I understood Spanish, but even if I hadn 't the tone was so sharp and harsh it was evident how rude he was being. That 's no way to treat a person who 's just trying to do a job. The server couldn 't even walk in the direction of our table without the manager all but running over to hover over him. As we were finishing our meal the manager comes back around with an overly friendly attitude asking how we liked our meal and asks repeatedly why my wife didn 't finish her plate. I paid for the food not to be interviewed (which is something I watched him do 10 minutes earlier to some other very uncomfortably guests). No one likes to be put on the spot and quizzed about their meal. The food was so-so, the reason she couldn 't finish her food because of how livid she was over the treatment of our server. We will not be coming back here.
This restaurant is excellent! You can't go wrong with the combination fajitas; they are the best in town. The shrimp wrapped in bacon is unbeatable—absolutely superb! And who says you can't enjoy a non-alcoholic Michelada? Just ask for the Orlando G Michelada, and they'll serve it to you with Topo Chico mineral water. It's incredibly refreshing!
I've been working full-time with DoorDash for about eight months now, and I truly love it! It's enjoyable, keeps me busy, and always has me on my toes. One of the best parts of the job is discovering all the delicious restaurants. Today, my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a mini lunch buffet. It was reasonably priced and incredibly tasty! I encourage everyone to support local businesses, and if you're in the area, be sure to check this place out!
The restaurant is extremely clean, offers outstanding service, and the food is excellent. I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10. It's my mom's favorite place to eat, and I'm really happy it's reopened after the fire damage.
I don't think most patrons understood the situation, as it was all in Spanish and too complicated to explain in detail, but the environment was uncomfortable enough that I couldn't finish my meal. My husband, who knows a little Spanish, also sensed the unpleasantness. I tried to discreetly speak to our server and assured him that it was unacceptable for someone to treat him that way. Unfortunately, the owner hurried over to our table and interrupted us before I could address the issue further. I didn’t want to jeopardize our server's job by confronting the owner, and I regret not speaking up for him. I sincerely hope he sees this review and reflects on how he treats his employees. On top of all that, the food was nothing to write home about either. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. So unfortunate!
