Contribuiți la feedbackI brought a group of 11 seniors to this restaurant for lunch today as part of a tour of Keilor. We ordered 11 senior meals and each person was asked for their seniors card, despite clearly being over 65. The service was unaccommodating, with the waiter simply placing steak knives in the middle of the table for those who ordered steaks. The prices were extremely high, but the building itself is beautiful. Overall, we were not pleased with our experience and will not be returning.
The restaurant has a high turnover of chefs, which has led to many locals no longer dining here. Each new chef brings a new menu, but unfortunately, the quality never meets expectations. It's disappointing, considering the historical charm of the Keilor hotel and its cozy atmosphere with bluestone and fires. Despite giving it another chance last May for dinner, the food was average at best.
Haven't been here for quite some time. On previous visit we found that the food and service had deteriorated. We recently decided to give it another try and were happy that we did. Food was excellent and good size serve. It was a Saturday night and it was very busy but found that the service was good. All staff were very helpful. We will be returning again soon.
Went to bistro sat night for our sons 21 st a party of 12 it was a busy night so you don't mind a few hiccups but only 3 of our party had a good meal everyone else had cold or underdone or the wrong meal the birthday boy sent his meal back twice and didn't even get to eat . manager was nice apologies and all but won't go back
Went here for dinner with a friend and the kids, the Chicken & Mushroom Risotto was to die for and the Pork Ribs & Eye Fillet went down a treat too.Love that the adults can sit and have a catch up all the while knowing that the kids are having a brilliant time in the enclosed play area.
