Contribuiți la feedbackIf you want to support local, this would be a place that needs support. To be frank, the food was not worth the price. We got the Swiss burger and the Jesse James burger with fries and both of them looked and tasted like I could have made them with premade patties and buns from Walmart. I don’t know if “love” is a quantifiable ingredient in food, but this was definitely lacking some love. The service I was given was great, the young lady that worked there did very well, but two other workers seemed bored and unprofessional when I walked in. It’s definitely a homey, come -in-and-chat sort of place, so if you like supporting local businesses and a laid back atmosphere, this is the place!
I don’t even know where to begin with this place, so we will start at the beginning. My girlfriend and I came here for breakfast on a Sunday, the atmosphere is nice. According to the thing in the table this place is founded by a guy who “loves drag racing his motorcycle” (it shows in the decor), and the owners love “getting creative with food” which is where the disappointment begins. If you’re looking for a place with food that can only be described as mediocre, at best… then this is the place for you! Service is all but nonexistent here. The orange juice was nothing more than Sunny D from the way it tasted, but it was likely Tropicana (which they charge something like $3.50 for). They claim to use “local meat and eggs”, but the sausage that I got was merely a pre packaged patty that had been cut up and put into the food. Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s not local, and it very well could be. However, I have a feeling that much like the breakfast potatoes… it’s probably not local. The food tastes decent, and there is no denial of that on my part, but it is not what you are led to believe in the menu or other reviews. Very basic, Waffle House quality food (though Waffle House might actually be a tad better).Overall, I admit I would eat here again… but I wouldn’t pay for it. The service is lacking (presumably high school girls working their first jobs). Once you get your food you can forget about refills or even asking about the quality of the meal. Girlfriend had to get the attention of our server to get more coffee, and then I didnt even get acknowledged to see if I needed anything… maybe I’m being too critical on this restaurant, but I really don’t think I am.I gave this place 2 stars because it is clear that these folks are trying… but there are a lot of improvements that could be made. Maybe the lunch menu is better, but breakfast is lacking to say the least.
This was a great Sunday brunch stop after a hike around the lake!! My bacon was a lil burnt but other than that it was great. The homemade pistachio ice cream for the ride home made up for it!!
This place is very cool with all the nhra photos and things the food was great for all 4 of us the people there are very nice and great ijust loved the experience I will be back thank you for the fun
The food was just ok and very pricy for what we got. I had a turkey “club” it was just a turkey sandwich, not a club. It came with a side and drink for $14. The homemade chips were inconsistently cooked. Some were crispy some were soggy and limp. We order chicken chunks for the baby, good sized portion again pricy. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and the bbq sauce flight and add the fried potato salad, I think it totaled around $24 for this. The bill with tip was $60. Way too much for mediocre food.
