The Federal Grill Katy

This is the place to be in Katy! Food is off the charts good. Everything! Can't go wrong with the cheeseburger eggrolls! Chilean sea bass, muah! So good.The vibe is here us top notch! You won't be disappointed...

The service lacked greatly. First, it took some time to get a server. He finally showed, took our drink order, then we waited a while. Finally the server showed with drinks, took appi order. Then nothing. Prob 15 min later a different server showed and took over. They gave us a dessert for the wait, but we could have been out of there 30 min earlier.

It was very okay. The bartender gave great service but for a slow night the food took a long time and was just okay. Of all the steakhouses in the Houston it’s very subpar. I will say the drink were fantastic!! Wine selection is severely lacking.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while so tonight we did for a early birthday dinner on a Tuesday evening it wasn't busy so we figured we would get fast service but that was not the case we arrived at 6:20pm we didn't leave until 8:25 not because we wanted to but because our waiter took so long bringing our drinks then appetizers then our main courses the food and drinks were good but not for the price, too much ice in the drinks I figured to make it look like your getting more drink than you really are and their bread pudding was awful that was not bread pudding it was a chocolate cinnamon mush with caramel don't think it was worth 250 for 3 people. We don't mind paying for great food drinks but there needs to be great service as well. So disappointed with this restaurant I really wanted to like it because it is so close to home.

I didn't know this place existed until a colleague invited here for lunch. My burger was excellent. The staff was very attentive. Well worth the trip!
