Catfish Station - Katy

It’s 2023: WONT BE GETTING MY BUSINESS ANYMORE!! I guess they have a new manager and she’s a lady! But charging for sauces when the prices have went up and the food hasn’t improved is ridiculous! I guess I’ll have to find a new catfish place because I don’t do changes too well especially when NO CHANGE has come behind the price increases! There are several locations (CATFISH STATION) (THE STATION) and the food quality is different every where you go. Owned now by different people. So no consistency! I’m giving 1 star and today will be the last day I come in.Update 9/9/2019Love their fish and tarter sauce! Their fries aren't the best! Usually never fresh either. First time I went in the manager checked my ten dollar bill as if it was fake maybe they should invest in a bill reader to not make customers feel so awkward about spending their money. Other than that, great fish.2015:Under new management and he’s great!!! The food is fresh the fries are so much better!!! They also have a new Alfredo sauce and it’s freakin awesome! Wow! Definitely upgrade from 4 star to 5. Hands down best fish in Houston and trust me I’ve tried a lot of places!! Including your popular seafood restaurants

Outstanding, quality control with delicious catfish. The cheese grits are a must try culinary delight! The house blend spicy tarter sauce is a wonderful addition to the fish dishes. Long drive but worth it for this fine dinner and or takeout. Catfish lovers, please don't miss this catfish and more eatery!

The Mac and cheese was sooooo delicious but the second time it wa different but still delicious! Fish is awesome!!

Just your basic catfish place, but the fish is cooked pretty good. Light, balanced with the right amount of crunchy. Not too crispy that it hurts your jaws, and the breading is not too thick.The cheese grits you can choose as a side is also pleasantly aromatic and even has sausages in it!The chicken and sausage gumbo was a bit too peppery though.Overall, very basic bayou food, but if catfish fillet is exactly what you crave... I'd recommend it.

This is not catfish it is swai. Definitely a real southern girl and know what catfish texture and taste like I’m so angry because I know my difference between my fish. Just change your whole name or start purchasing real catfish fish instead of being cheap selling swai and deceiving customers. Will not be back also for the price the portions suck they cut the fish in half. A waste of 30 bucks no wonder they don’t do refunds cause they probably get complaints all the time .
