As soon as we finally got inside, we were lucky enough to snag a table. We asked for some water, but it arrived filled with strange, black particles, so we quickly ordered drinks instead, which came in small servings. I ordered garlic bread, which turned out to be just flat bread drizzled with oil and sprinkled with garlic—very underwhelming! I also ordered a vegetarian pizza with vegan cheese, which I was excited about. However, the pizza lacked any vibrant color, and the cheese was a dull gray. The highlight of the visit was definitely people-watching; it was both strange and fascinating. I can only recommend this place if there are no other options available. It was quite pricey, there was no table service, and while the staff were okay, the real entertainment came from observing the locals, which we didn’t have to pay for!
On a super busy night, we expected to wait but the meals came out rather quickly. The meals are good size, meaning not stupidly big like many places. They don’t take bookings, so it’s a first in kinda place. Inside and outside seating, popular with families.
Got there on a Saturday at 5.30, it was packed ! Luckily we got to share a table with two nice strangers. Menu has quite a few vegan options (one pizza, or make your own with $3 vegan cheese option, 3 psta dishes), the eggplant parmiggiana was tasty (super oily and salty though) To sum up: awesome delicious food but definitely not on the healthy side
