Contribuiți la feedbackWe came here after a long day hiking and ended up loving the food so much that we booked in for the following night. The food was so fresh with rich, interesting flavors. There is a huge menu with plenty of options for meat and veg eaters alike. Perfect level of spice in the nasi goreng and curries and the portion sizes were very satisfying. I have never had better tasting vegan food! The dishes were very flavorsome and they go above and beyond the usual veg dishes with interesting and exotic ingredients. The service was also incredible!! Very friendly and attentive staff and quick service.
Amazing find! We ordered 4 dishes and every one was gastronomical. Quick service, Would highly recommend.
I’ve made i great choice that i decided to go to Basil Nut for lunch during my trip at Blue Mountains. Their fried rices are delicious, i love it.
Did a bit of research to see what to eat for our dinner whilst we were in Katoomba and this came up as one of the better options on Zomato. If there were still half marks on here would’ve been a 4.5! <br/ <br/ Managed to squeeze in as they were pretty busy with both dine in and takeaways. The service was very friendly and even though they were stretched with heaps of orders they managed to take care of everyone pretty well. <br/ <br/ Started off with some Grilled Satay Chicken Skewer With Peanut Sauce. 3 juicy pieces of chicken was smothered by a tasty nutty peanut sauce. Miso soup was okay. <br/ <br/ We then had the Chilli Jam Roast Duck With Wild Rice, Sesame Beef Veggies With Steamed Rice, and Peking Duck Prawn Fried Rice. We were all pleased with our mains and thought the portions were all quite generous. The food was tasty and we did struggle to finish all of it but managed to find a way. <br/ <br/ To finish we had Pandan Tapioca Sago and White Chocolate Caramel Tart. Both pleased with our desserts and great finish to meal. The sago had a slight salty taste from coconut but the ice cream sweetened it all up. The tart was sweet but delicious.
We ordered the caramelized chili fish, and it was simply out of this world. It was amazing—the crispy outer layer of the fish was perfectly crumbly and delicious without being overwhelming. I ended up completely ignoring the jasmine rice that came with it. My friend ordered the Singapore noodles with tofu, but he was disappointed with the amount of tofu, as it was a bit meager. However, he found the taste to be good. Now, here's the standout feature: I’m not usually a dessert person, but I was genuinely impressed by their dessert called Tapioca Ice Cream with Sagoo. Beneath a layer of mildly sweet green Sagoo, there was a layer of fresh coconut cream topped with thin slivers of coconut meat and a generous scoop of ice cream. The salty flavor of the coconut cream paired beautifully with the ice cream and warm Sagoo.
