Om's Veg Momo - Kathmandu

The momos are great. the sauce they use for the momo will join you. in the rule would not veg people prefer not to eat veg momo. but this is different, my non-friends appreciate the taste and another beautiful thing is that the owners themselves are vegeterian. but I need to watch my vegan friends. for from now on they serve two main types of momos. You are veg momo, which is vegan, but another is windshield momo. and the windshield wiper has almost the same texture and look of tofu. so is just a kind of momo vegan at this place when they are vegan and plan to visit. Just order a veg mama. the good is, the veg momo is cheaper than the disc momo. I want to suggest to them to add another kind of momo in which they use tofu instead of discourse. that would be perfect. positiw: affordable, tasty, clean place clean plates, fast serve (usually under 2 min) negatiw: location not within the tourist zone

I just came here with my Nepalese cousin. we couldn't find it for one, so he called it. the whole front of the place is new. Delicious veg momo I think is vegan and I ate the sauce that says a previous review is not vegan, but I don't see why not. my wife makes momo chutney (sauce) and it has no animal product, unless they use ghee, but it does not taste of it. also comes with a very spicy deep red chili sauce. I ate something, it's a mouthburner. but good. I ate two tellers, about 20.

The prices have now risen a bit, 80NRs for a record of veg momo, but they are really good (and sharp, for western standards.) there are many places like this in kathmandu the usual, the buff, huh and veg momo and a few vegetarian as om’s serve. also in dilli bazaar sadak there are at least two more vegetarian, but this is clearly a popular among natives. they now also offer disc wiper momo. Today there is no sign in English, but I guess they're going to set up one again.

30 minutes walk from the centre of thamel. only one kind of momo. if they are vegan, ask for momo without sauce. 30 rs for 10 momos (06.2010)

Momos at this restaurant are amazing. The sauce they serve with the momos is delicious. Typically, non-vegetarians may not prefer veg momos, but these ones are different - even my non-vegetarian friends enjoyed them. The owners themselves are vegetarian, which is a nice touch. However, for my vegan friends, they offer a Veg Momo option that is vegan-friendly, as well as a Disc Wiper Momo that resembles tofu but is a dairy product. It would be great if they added a Tofu-based Momo for vegans. The Veg Momos are cheaper than the Disc Wiper Momos. The restaurant is reliable, serves tasty food, and has a clean environment with quick service (usually under 2 minutes). The only downside is that the location is not in a tourist-friendly area.
