Captain George - Kastro

Hope Captain George was a better sailor than he is as a chef. Clearly, something has gone wrong at this place. Wating 45 min to get a menu, then things just got worse. Food was not fresh (and was not pleasant) as the waiter told us it was frozen. We were left waiting over 20 min between dishes, to which nearly 2hrs we left with 3 dishes still to come. Perspective we were 1 of 4 tables. My advice, don't bother the effort to try and find a parking space and walk the steps. We turned up here for dinner when a lot of other places on the island were closed for a wedding. What a find!! The fish was perfectly cooked after we chose the ones we wanted from the fridge, they were so fresh and full of flavour. The atmosphere is epic with the sound of waved just below the dining space. Everything was so delicious...and the fish we ate was so fresh that you could smell the sea on your palate! We got mullet fried!!!And I'm drooling thinking about it again!!!
