I have made a booking in this hotel a week ago and I received the confirmation. When I arrived, I was told that there was a mistake in booking software and that they had no space for us in the hotel. As...alternative we could stay in their other hotel 2 km away. they said they wanted to inform me. no call was made to my phone, I did not receive an email or message. this is not possible to treat customers. mistakes happen, but customers must be informed and accept the alternative if they want. nothing was said only when we arrived at 19.00 a.m., so no possibility to choose another hotel. if I book a 4-star superior hotel, a massage in spa, I do not want to stay in a 2km distance hotel, 3 stars, with the car to the previously booked restaurant and the next day of the massage. when we arrived in the second hotel, they were ready to charge us 130 euro (3 start) instead of 150 (4 star hotel). when I rejuvenated, the recipeist called a supposed ruler, who should lower the price to 100 euro, a wonderful discount, just the same price that is offered during booking for this hotel. shameful! this is not expected when we book a hotel by booking. either have hotels available or not, but the customer must be informed and the right to choose in time.

Wait 30 minutes to get manu, but still do not get there and there were 4 tables with people and 3 waiters running around just useless things do not worry about customers.

After trudging around the imposing but over-crowded Wilhelmsberg park, we decided to treat ourselves to a light lunch at this hotel restaurant as it looks quite upscale with its outside seating in front of the white hotel building. Although we were practically the only guests,...service was quite slow. We each ordered a Caesar’s Salad, one with grilled chicken strips and one with shrimp. The salads were quite disappointing as the lettuce leaves were tought and chewy, the dressing uninspired, and the bacon strips on top cold. The chicken and shrimp were OK however at an add-on price of €6.50/€8.00, we feel the total price of €15.50/€17.00 for a tough, insipid salad was way too high.

This is an above average hotel with very nice rooms and reasonable prices. Parking was 8€ extra, but it sets you up well for museum, palace and castle sightseeing.
