We went during the week at around 6:pm (early for Germans, I know.) We wanted some good Pasta, and they gave it to us. The veal zitrone was perfect, the stronganoff (at an Italian restaurant!) that my daughter got was so good that I ended up eating half of it from her plate. I got the pasta Gorgonzola which was good, but lacked the punch of a good Gorgonzola. The deserts were good, but not quite what we expected. The peach Melba, for example, was more of a peaches and ice cream than anything, but still good.
We've been to the pizza house more often. eating is as it is served in Italians in Germany for decades. the pizza is made from the stone oven and well made. but it is lacking gratification. the noodles were okay. Something too soft, which I don't like at all. but I think the masters like that. the service is nice and you get to the farewell one more espresso or grappa to the house. that was very nice.
In fact, the city part rintheim is not an influx for exceptional dining. we go through the Georg-Friedrich-Str. the eastern city, for example, to bypass the building site inner city. in fact we had noticed the name gasthof krone in the old paint on the back side of the pizza house; but unfortunately never heard of this locality before. After the car could be parked in a short distance, we were looking forward to the Italian Cucina.The entrance door to the relatiw large Osteria/Gastwirtschaft (with next room) was open, the patron was already at the place: buonasera, tutti persone? the inner life of this food mastery came into the years was already filled almost until the last place. residents, students, are probably the main clientele of the guests. we ordered us a big MONINGER-Pils and a riddle. the menu could not even be overwhelmed in the app; there were too many dishes listed: soupen, appetizers, every amount of teigware and pizzas, ice creams, flammkuchen, fish and meat dishes, various salads and of course dolce. we have then become great with salad, pasta and pizza from the stone oven. it had tasted really well and we were actually most saturated again pulled by then, with the note that we like to come back.Last note: who likes the style of the 70s has arrived here.The pächter leads according to his own details one of the oldest pizzerias in the mind.Gerne should be the pizzen with a more large-area insert on the tables coming to theal
A great casual place for pizza and pasta dishes cooked the Italian way. Run by Italians, the place clearly has lots of regulars who go back for more. I enjoyed the spaghetti puttanesca and look forward to returning on my next trip to Karlsruhe.
