Alter Brauhof is a typical german restaurant with a nice garden for the summer time. The meals' quality is according to my opinion average and the prices a little bit high for this type of restaurant. It is direct opposite the north-west side of the zoo and next to the police station.

Good food, albeit sometimes a bit heavy. i recommend the maultaschen lasagna - a german take on italian that really works well and tastes great. by the way, it is the site of an old brauhof but there is none there now anymore, it is in a apartment area

A traditional biergarten away from the main centre. Good food, excellent beer in a garden,. Welcoming and quiet.
