Vila Kajetanka - Karlin

A very nice and peaceful environment, perfect for a meal or a special occasion. It's a bit on the expensive side, but I think the food is worth it. It's absolutely fantastic here in the summer on the terrace.

We were here for a family celebration dinner - so the expectations were high. They did not disappoint. The food was above average, wine and dessert as well. The service was good, but could use some improvement to create a more homely atmosphere. Could it be because of the purchased vouchers?! They cost around 2,000 CZK. So being a bit nicer to "all" guests would be recommended by the restaurant management... The environment seemed quite interesting to us, but the arrival!! We had a bit of trouble finding the way to the building: a narrow road between parked cars and those panel houses above this ancient building were not very appealing. Thank goodness it was dark: So for us, give it a try and judge for yourself.

We visited this restaurant because we received a voucher as a gift. The restaurant is fairly inconspicuously hidden, with a pleasant interior, although it was a bit cold inside for my liking. We were welcomed by friendly staff, seated, and then served our food. My steak was excellent, cooked exactly as ordered, accompanied by really delicious creamy mashed potatoes. A fantastic dessert and coffee followed. My only complaint would be that they should serve the coffee with the dessert and not separately... you either end up drinking cold coffee or waiting to enjoy it with dessert, which is not ideal. Overall, the restaurant left me with a positive impression. However, I didn't quite feel at home there...maybe because of the cold. A big plus was the food.

Do Vily Kajetanka jsme se dostali pres voucher, ktery jsme dostali jako darek. Jako predkrm jsme meli tatarak chutove dobry, ale nijak zvlast nevybocoval z rady k lepsimu. Dale rumpsteak se zelenymi fazolkami se slaninou a s gratinovanymi brambory. Steak velice dobre udelany, jak ho mam rad. Co me ale uplne odrovnalo, tak byly prave brambory. Naprosta chutova bomba. Nakonec jako dezert mrkvovy dort s orechy pritelkyni chutnal velice, pro me takova spise prumerna klasika. Dale musim pochvalit skvele nacepovanou Plzen a italske Chardonnay. Rovnez chvalim velice prijemne prostredi, co to ale malinko hatilo bylo ponekud chladnejsi prostredi od dveri vcelku slusne tahlo. Obsluhujici cisnik byl rovnez velice prijemny u nej za plny pocet. Rad bych dal jeste vetsi hodnoceni, ale k dokonalosti prece jenom jeste neco chybelo.

Dostal jsem se do této restaurace díky voucheru ze Slevomatu. Obsluha byla příjemná, restaurace úplně plná. Díky rozložení restaurace do několika menších částí to ale nevadilo. Jídlo bylo dobré. Jako předkrm krevety byly prima, hovězí steak také. Nicméně nic oslnivého. Podobných restaurací je v Praze sposta. Nicméně, kdybych bydlel blízko, tak bych sem občas zašel...
