For many years, this was my bar of choice when I had friends visiting the city, celebrated birthdays of some friends or had some chill out evenings. Recent controversy about working conditions for employees and high staff turnover have really made this place feel unwelcoming and cold, so unfortunately I don’t recommend this bar anymore.

What used to be a safe place for queers to gather has been proven not to be the case anymore. The owner is very toxic, xenophobic, and abusive towards his employees and former patrons. Please find somewhere else to spend your time and money.

I was going here regularly for a few years because it was truly a queer haven, but I'm really sad to say that it is no longer a friendly respectful queer space. The owner neglects the bar and his workers, while also expecting them to run the place for him without any support. His workers are then left with a limited inventory and a faulty structure to deal with, while also working very long hours for very little pay and sometimes no pay at all. Once the owners true colors showed up i regret giving any money to patra. Should've bought cheap wine and sing in the shower at home instead… if they ever re-open, do not go there. Oh and don't get me started on the way they treat their employees. So very dissapointing…
