Na Břehu Rhôny Výtoň - Karlin

I've been to Na brehu Rhony Za rohem and I really liked it. The atmosphere is very pleasant in the restaurant. Staff really knows what they are selling and they are selling really good stuff. : Nice french music playing, delicious cheeses and ham platters. What was NOT nice is the waitress' attitude at the begining. When I said that I have a reservation, she said that she does not think so, without even checking and that I for sure have a reservation at the other one. She had empty restaurant but instead of trying to accommodate me and have extra client she kept on saying that I have it around the corner. I was going to make a reservation there but they were full, so I knew for sure that I am at the right place. Then she finally checked it and ALLOWED me to sit. After some time another person came in and the story repeated. With a difference that the person really had it around the corner and the waitress had her triumph after some humiliating of a potential customer. During the time I was there were only 3 tables with the same people who came around the same time with me so I don't understand why she was so protective of empty tables. When she was serving us she was nice and everything but the first impression she made was not so welcoming. I am mentioning this because it's a very common attitude towards customers in Prague which I hope, will change soon. I was polite and in return, for some reason, I got arrogance. I am confused.

Best wine bar in Prague, hands down. Excellent place to sit and get pickled on a sunny afternoon, or any afternoon for that matter. Good luck getting a table though!

Really nice small place where you can have not only very good selection of wine but some nice carefully prepared small dishes. The wine selection is great, very good prices. The 4.5 is only because they can do little more tapas or small dishes on the menu, and they can speed up the service. Don 't get me wrong, it is great atmosphere and really easy going, but sometimes you just want faster service and not sit dry for some time. Oh, and they should get a till which is working, as bills written on hand doesn 't really work.

Vinarna kousek od naplavky, ktera zaujme hned jak do ni vejdete. Neni tu totiz klasicky obsluha, krera by dolevala vino, ale to si sami stacite z jednotlivych krabic, ktere jsou ulozeny v lednicich. Pak si jen na listecek napisete co jste meli a u pokladny zaplatite. O obsluhu nakonec nejste ochuzeni, ktera kmita kolem stolu a stara se o to jestli nemate hlad nebo specialni prani. Moznost je pak vzit si vino do kelimku a posedet na naplavce. Prostor je maly a je to tu vyresene moznosti stani u barovych stolku. Jidlo je super takze urcite doporucuji navstevu.

Zajímavé místo, interiér se mi líbil. Byla jsem tu s pár přáteli a myslím že všem se tu líbilo, pití i jídlo super, takže ráda doporučím dál.
